GCC to provide EAC with a Customer Contact Centre System

Nicosia, 24th January 2008.

GCC Computers Ltd has been recently awarded the Electricity Authority of Cyprus project for the provision of an integrated, state-of-the-art, National Customer Contact Centre.

The system intends to serve EAC in a number of business areas such as Faults Handling, No supply calls, Emergency calls, Public Lighting Faults, Meter Readings, Account Balance & Payment Enquiries, Account Adjustments, Disconnection/Reconnection of supply etc, etc
thus, the system will be interfaced/integrated with the back-office Accounting and Billing Applications

The business objectives of the new EAC National Customer Contact Centre are, among others:

  • To improve customer service
  • To increase Productivity
  • To reduce costs
  • To introduce Service Level Agreements with EAC customers
  • To position EAC for the future developments in electricity markets opening.
